Greenborne
Airing at the height of lockdown in 2021, Greenborne was a positive, inclusive and upbeat radio soap opera, set in the then near future – making it a beacon of hope in a post Covid-19 return to normality. It offered listeners intriguing and affecting stories about a life that we were then all striving to return to beyond the localised lockdowns and restrictions. Literally escapist drama!!
The cast included John Altman (EastEnder’s ‘Nasty’ Nick and ‘The Real Marigold Hotel’) and Corrinne Wicks (Doctors, Emmerdale). Here's John talking about the series. We worked with the team to help them win a grant from the Audio Content Fund and then distribute the programme to dozens of local radio stations around the UK.
